Veneers are an excellent way to cover defects, such as chipped teeth, discolourations, slightly crooked teeth, or minimize the space between the teeth. They are made of a porcelain material, customized to fit your teeth. The veneer is then secured to the front side of your teeth to give you an even smile - One that you will be proud to show off!
Natural Appearance - Veneers are made out of porcelain which is similar to enamel which covers a tooth.
Stain-Resistance - Because porcelain is a ceramic, it has smooth an impervious surface. This makes it resistant to permanent stains.
Durable - Veneers should last up to 15+ years.
Improved self confidence - With your new beautiful smile, you'll feel a dramatic change in your appearance.
There are a couple of limitations with Veneers, for example, if you have unhealthy teeth, crooked teeth, suffer from bruxism (excessive teeth clenching), weak teeth, or very little enamel on your teeth, you are not a candidate for veneers. Veneers are also permanent, meaning once they are done, there is no going back. If you have crooked teeth, it's difficult to do as well. One thing we may need to do is straighten out your back teeth as the appearance of your front teeth relies on your back teeth's health. These are considerations for orthodontics, and they may be recommended in this instance.
